Who Can Be Sponsored?

Spouse or Common-Law Partner – Living in Canada or outside Canada
Dependent Children – Under the age of 22 and unmarried
Parents & Grandparents – Through the annual PGP intake or Super Visa support
Other Eligible Relatives – In very limited cases, an orphaned sibling, niece, nephew, or grandchild

Sponsorship Eligibility (Sponsor)

Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, 18 years or older
Must demonstrate ability to financially support the sponsored relative
Must not be bankrupt, convicted of violent/offensive criminal activity, or in default on a previous sponsorship undertaking
